  • Three months since we last tried it, this is now definitely more Pinot in aroma. The spicy edge is now quite a few notches lower and so is the oak. Has a bit of a roast meat, smoky feel. Medium bodied wine and lacks a bit of weight on the mid palate and now shows a few sharp, bitter edges on the finish. 88 and not one to age

  • Another Heathrow special. Nice Pinot fruit on the nose, not a lot of complexity, good balance of acid and fruit on the palate with a good long finish. Again, a perfect example of the type.

  • Dark but not dense in colour. Quite a lot of spice on the nose, some oak too, and Nicol that tried it blind thought it was a syrah based wine ( nose wise). The palate has a richness for a morey. Good fruit too and decent ripeness. Light oak motyes. Bitter green touch to it at times and of a light density mid palate.
    Good 87, drinks well now
