  • (WineGate) Purple color, lacks brightness but then again, its unfiltered.
Big nose complex and layered, spicy character (black pepper) that comes front, ripe plums and currants, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg in the finish. Quite the nose tickler !
Round in the mouth, valvety and juicy tannins, extrovert fruity character (plum and black cherries), nutmeg, high acidity levels offering balance. The alcohol gives a small kiss (14.5%), medium concentration and medium to long aftertaste with some alcohol again, acidity and plum scented coffee beans fighting each other.
One of the big red wines of Greece

  • Dark ruby, almost opaque. The nose is similar to the 2005 Cava Amethysyos but more expressive and etheral. Liquorice, blackberries, chocolate, blackberries, creme de cassis and hints of eucalypt. On the palate it is full-bodied with velvety tannins, rich, ripe fruit and balancing acidity. Long aftertaste. Ready to drink now or over the next 3 to 5 years.

  • Deep garnet with an oppulent nose typical of warm climate CS. Cassis, dried herbs, some mint and toasty oak. Thick and concentrated on palate with zesty acidity, firm but ripe tannins leading to a very good finish. Full bodied, slightly alcoholic with a chocolatey aftertaste. Delicious now will keep for another 3-4 years.

  • An impressive wine with character and fruit purity. Expressive nose revealing complexity: lavender, herbs, blackberries and high quality oak. Delicious and broad on palate with perfect harmony between all elements. Very long and enjoyable now but will keep for some years because of firm and ripe tannins present. My kind of wine...
