  In a great place for this particular bottle. Last of my 09’s. Cedar, vanilla, cherry on the nose. Complex in the mouth with cherry and black licorice. Good length. Last bottle :(

  Wow! Intense, ruby dark colour. Scents of dark red fruits: cherries, cassis, blueberry, some spice. Very pleasant in the mouth, the tannins are still present but soft and integrated a wonderful balance with fruit and acidity. This wine is in a perfect spot! I bough this bottle and another one on the estate some yers ago ... if only I would have a had a bigger car ...

  If this was was in a dumb phase, it's started to sing. Medium bodied, it emerged with balance and restraint, showing fruit but not showy. Sightly grippy but no tannic grasp, the distinct cassis flavours are infused with impressions of Italian herbs. This wine became more focused with time in the decanter, leaving the impression it can improve at least a few years if not more. Perhaps I underscored. Casanova di Neri never disappoints.
