similar to the 1/2 btl i had 5+ years ago. very typical and nicely made wine. acid is perfect. that this is declassified d'yquem (so they say) seems to make it all the more special for the suggestible (such as myself). crowd pleaser (of course).

A straight-forward and pleasant Sauternes that went great with bread pudding. There is spice, tropical fruit, honey, lemon, tangerine and slight butterscotch

A simple sauternes, with typical honeysuckle, pineapple and flower. Medium bodied and finish. Moderate complexity.
