  • This is in a pretty good place now, and I'm glad I opened it. Decanted and drank over about an hour. Pale, translucent red. Soft nose showing earth and nice, very soft, bright red fruit. On the palate, excellent acidity. Showed more tannin than in the past, but it added good structure. The tannin could definitely soften, but I'm not sure I can see this improving so much.

  • Decanted, and drank over about an hour. Significantly improved from our previous bottle, which had some distracting cool/minty/green notes. This was much warmer, with some earth and lots of sour cherries on the nose, though not hugely complex. Good acidity on the palate, continuing with the sour cherries/cranberries. Medium- bodied and no tannin on the finish. Drinking fairly well right now; it's unclear how well structured this is to improve...perhaps some secondary will develop on the nose, but this has a pleasant freshness and purity of fruit right now.

  • Overall, a bit flat and uninteresting. Showed some potential on day 3. Could evolve, but seems to lack the depth or intensity.

  • Ripe red berries and baking spices on the nose. Light to medium bodied with medium+ acidity. Tart, crunchy red fruit squeezed over a rocky, mineral base. Delicious.
