Il naso parte con scorze di frutta secca, qualche vago sentore di pelliccia, echi balsamici come di lavanda, erba appena tagliata, e in fondo qualche spezia dolce. Poi, a ben sentire, si fa strada il fondo di caffè con intensità notevole. Polpa di frutta rossa (ma anche di bosco) è il tono dominante. Il colore rubino impenetrabile è ancora giovanile e vigoroso, lucido e molto sano. L'attacco in bocca è freschissimo, conferma la balsamicità del naso, forse ancora più mentolato, e si allunga in modo interminabile finendo su note ammandorlate e vagamente amare. Non molto avvolgente, è un vino più elettrizzante che amichevole.

7 days in Italy.; 6/16/2012-6/22/2012 (Italy): 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenere. Bradissism - magma pressure that forms a hill. Here red clay and limestone. Black fruit, herb aromas. Nice structure. 18 months oak and 50% new. 'Bordeaux style' but at 14.5% ABV.
