With all due respect to the sub-80 points reviews, I don't know where this is coming from. Popped and poured at 60 degrees right from the N'finity and couldn't disagree more. Not getting the high vanilla, not overly fruity at all, and I think the finish is decent. Will have to see what happens as it opens up and warms up as well...OK, had with dinner (beef stroganoff) and I've got no complaints. My rating stands.
Skebum has it right. Nothing but vanilla bean on the nose and licorice on the palate. No tannins to speak of, but just enough acid to keep it from being a complete gloppy mess. No fruit, no finish. This is two-buck chuck quality level. Not sure if I can finish this glass, let alone the bottle.

(Robert Ramsay Cellars Dump Block Cabernet Sauvignon Upland Vineyard Snipes Mountain) An aromatically compelling wine with coffee, black cherry, coffee, and eucalyptus. On the palate, a hedonistic, rich, mouthful of a wine full of coffee, cherry, and chocolate flavors with pillowy tannins. An incredibly long finish. This is a thoroughly delicious wine with richness and grace. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French oak. 14.1% alcohol. 63 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.

PNP with a grilled filet. Still good fruit, no real hints of oak left. Better after a couple of hours, but no reason to wait on this one.

Much better the second day after some of the harshness smooths out.

Deep candied fruit with soft tannins and a beautiful finish! Wish they made more of this wine.
