  I am pleased to say this is still drinking really well. It's got a nice purplish hue, lots of red fruits on the nose, and a bit of nice pepperiness going down. No sign of being over the hill at this point. This was my last bottle of this vintage but I would expect it would have been good for some time into the future.

  very dark violet, full bodied (14.9%) lush dark fruit, great structure, spice smoke leather, supple tannins, long rewarding finish. Drink now. Abig, balanced, layered wine, well integrated.

  Lovely, almost black in the glass; spice and pepper on the nose. Full-bodied, but I have to disagree with the reviews claiming this is jammy. It is not overly sweet but does have strong notes of chocolate and black cherry with lingering black tea and smoke. An additional year did it wonders, and it likely has another 2 to go.
