As I mentioned in my last note, I am rather shallow--I bought this because of the bottle (and that it claimed to be an unoaked Chardonnay). One of the fruitier noses I have experienced in a while--melon and honeydew with a bit of pineapple. Good acid on the palate and an admirable finish. The extra time in my cellar seems to have done it well. Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com
Overall we liked this wine but it was a little tight when first opened. Liked it much better a couple hours later. Decent fruit and good acidity. Very typical chard nose and flavors for this style. Definitely doesn't need to be drank now unless you really like fruity chards.
This wine is so overtly fruity that I found it almost sweet, even though it is completely dry. Frankly, served blind, I would not have recognized it as Chardonnay, tasting more like an off-dry Pinot Gris. Not my thang. www.advinetures.ca
