I didnt catch the year of this one--Im assuming it is a 2009 or 10 bc it was so new it hadnt made it on the wine list yet.
I loved, loved the aromatics in this wine, what a beauty. 'Oeilde Perdrix' refers to the traditional French process of rose production for Pinot grapes. the colorwas slightly salmon with the rosiness. tons of ripestrawberry aroma and cranberry. med +acid on palate, very dry with mineral and orange zesty flavors. a great very dry and pretty wine, the palate reflects berry flavors. the aromas in this are really beautiful.
