1st time trying this, disgorged Nov 2013. Dark salmon, slight brownish/copper color, refreshing, decent amount of intensity, and ends with a slight bitterness finish, which was interesting. IMHO, intensity is similar to neighboring Roederer Estate Rose (although cellaring time from disgorged date would make a lot of differences). I still prefer Roederer Estate, but would drink this again.
Fantastic domestic bubbles. Copperish salmon color in the glass with loads of bubbles mineral acids to go along with fresh raspberries and cherry on the palate and nose. Crisp, clean and cleansing. went great with loaded baked potato soup. Creamy texture as it opened up more. very hard not to cruise through a bottle quickly between the 2 of us. Better than the Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs by a few points. Will actively seek out more of this. No real less flavors separates this from a French Champagne, but so pleasant sliding down the throat, great mousse.
