Purchased at auction for $29, a great bargain. Clearly a New World Pinot Noir, but leaning toward Burgundy, with a complex, spicy flavor, more herbal than fruity, smooth and balanced, only just out of its adolescence. It was a lovely accompaniment for roast duck and three of us got through the bottle quite quickly -- an indication of how easy it is to drink.

Ruby red in color. 14.5% ABV. Sensational nose of red fruits, cola, cloves and forest floor. Medium body with exquisite acidity. Elegant and refined with upfront fruits that are incredibly appealing. Black cherry, pomegranate, sarsaparilla and earth on the palate. The finish is long, warm and supple. The fourth of six bottles bought long ago from Dehlinger. This wine continues to impress. Best over the next 2-4 years.

Lovely wine with forest floor, cinnamon and red fruits. Still young, drink or hold for 5-8 more years. Nowhere near maturity for this AFWE snob. Don't @ me bro.

Crimson in color. 14.9% ABV. Pretty nose of red fruits, cloves, sarsaparilla and forest floor. Medium body with perfect acidity. Rich and vibrant with gorgeous waves of fruit. Black cherry, cola, baking spices and mushrooms on the palate. The finish is exceptionally long and silky. Just an awesome bottle of Pinot Noir. Another triumph from Dehlinger. Best over the next 2-4 years.

a bit of a brute for me. too much of a fruit bomb and the nearly 15% ABV showed on the back end with some heat. well made but not my style of PN.
