Drank my last bottle of this last night with smoked pulled pork. I was concerned that it might be over the hill but to my pleasant surprise it was still very good. In particular it still showed quite a lot of fruit. Everyone enjoyed it and agreed it deserves higher ratings than the community average. We preferred it to a Turley old vines half its age-more zin/ps character.

Had a glass of this without notes, but it had lost a lot of its fruity character by the time I came back to it. I remember liking its nice combination of fruit and dense complexity, but thought it needed another day to open up. Unfortunately, I didn't get back to it in time.

Didn't take notes when I had this with friends last night, but everyone enjoyed it. Plenty of fruit, candied cherry mostly, and some herbal notes. Lingered nicely on the palate. Seemed balanced but not overly complex. I appreciated the 10% Petite Sirah in there to give it a bit more heft. Will be more descriptive with the review of the next two bottles. It's very good (and I'm happy to have more), but it's not amazing. Prefer plenty from Lodi and Amador to this. Still, a solid 88 pts.
