This was a bit lean and hard upon opening the bottle. Fortunately 60-90 mins. of air improved the situation, revealing a typical Chambolle elegance and fragrance and a smoother, earthier finish. The fruit remained somewhat lean (a touch over the hill?), however, without a great deal of compensating complexity. Very enjoyable, but somewhat of a one-note song.

Tired and flat. Maybe other bottles would be better.
