A well made enjoyable Montepulciano that's drinking well at the moment. Clear without any obvious signs of aging in this 10 year old bottle. On the nose there are the typical dried fruit and dark aromatic notes typical of the style. The palette shows some evidence of age with the tannins and fruit silkily well integrated and the fruit showing hints of cherry cola and and dark bramble fruit. Overall the fruit component lacks the intensity to be given a better score. Finishes quite short
