I did not have high expectations for this but it really exceeded my preconceived notions of this wine. Upon opening the bottle the aromas of cherries and fruit were very evident, the color of the wine was a dark berry red and the initial taste on the palate was of cherries with secondary flavors of cola, root beer, and pepper. The wine has good legs, a nice jaminess to it as well as a strong finish and good viscosity. Not a very expensive wine but definitely exceeds its price point. A very good value.

This is a good Carneros pinot that is true to its terroir - dark berries, remarkable tannin, and spice, as opposed to the floral you get from Sonoma Coast or the cherry cola from Oregon. I'd say this is what its supposed to be, in a good way. The only criticism is that it is not particularly complex, but then, it is not particulary expensive, either. Will buy more.

Nothing special to it. The wine looks Violet colored. It smells like yogurt with Light/Medium body and a short finish.
