Clear and bright with a beautiful pale ruby colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, showing medium intensity aromas of raspberries, ripe strawberries, dried roses, liquorice, game and hints of violets and cedar. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity, low fine grained tannins, high warm alcohol, medium body and medium intensity flavours of red cherries, strawberries, dried roses, liquorice and cedar. Long finish.
It is a very good quality wine because it shows typicity, it has a nice complexity provided by floral, fruity and some oak ageing notes and a lingering finish. However a bit more of fruit concentration would balance the alcohol. Drink now, but it has some structure to develop more complexity in the next 2-3 years.

Reminiscent of the Tassie pinots, with dominant savoury aspects and red fruit in the background, it's a decent Pinot with decent characteristics although I'd have to question the value for money. Clean, correct, some cool climate overtones, but far from exciting. Poor value

A very tasty new world pinot that is very good and an outstanding value for the price. Although linear in characteristic this wine drinks easily and is quite smooth in the mouth. Straightforward sweet cherry interwined with cassis notes complemented with a smoothness that comes from French oak.
I bought 2 cases and have made this my table wine of choice for 2013.

I have been purchasing 2 cases of Crimson Pinot Noir half bottles for the past 3 years. I find it an amazing value for the price and consistent.
The wine is a deep crimson red fruit driven wine that is lovely on the nose. Flavours of cranberry and sour cherry fill the glass on the nose and in the mouth. It is a correct wine that is fruit driven. A very good value at $20 a bottle.

Light ruby. Discrete, fresh unmistakable Pinot nose, red fruit with violets. On the palate rather light, fresh and fruity, not overly complex but very correct.
