Dinner Party Blind Tasting - I should have read the comments before opening this. The wine didn't show well at the start. It was thin and just didn't have much flavor. I wondered if I had a bad bottle or if it was in a dumb phase. Later in the night I went back to it as did others. One person wondered if it was the same wine. It opened up and revealed itself to be a really nice wine.
IPNC Walk-Around tasting; 7/26/2013-7/27/2013 (McMinnville OR): Tasting. Elegantly styled Pinot Noir red fruit that balanced ripe fruit, Asian five spice, new oak hints well. Flavors of both red and black fruit also some some restraint balanced by acidity, similar spice profile, all in good balance. Slightly firm middle to finish, better in a few years. Very good.
