Still young, but held its own. Went well with a lamb dinner. Would looks for and buy again to hold for a year or two. Cork was well-soaked even for a 2010. Good balance between earth and fruit. Tasted the potential.

Pure and well-defined red and blue cabernet aromas without any green bell pepper, just a whiff of newly mown grass. Some liquorice and tobacco to round it off, but not as much as a hint of oak. Fresh and youthful taste, medium bodied with lively acidity and a splash of ink, quite generous cabby flavours, just enough grip and those chalky minerals that makes you sucker for another sip. Nice balance. At 12,5% alcohol, this is the kind of companion you want for an everyday meal (except for your dear family ;-) Isn't it finally time for a big-time cab franc comeback?

Lovely chinon with clean fruit, only the finest of pyrazines, and polished tannins. Great mouthfeel, drinks very well now.
