Pulling this out of my cellar after a decade. Color is quite deep golden. On the nose: citrus, butterscotch, pineapple and minerals. On the palate: Orange, pineapple, green apple and just a bit of caramel. Very long and nice mouthfeel. This is a serious adult wine. Don’t serve it too cold so you can really get into the flavors. This is really good but I am not sure everyone will like.

Had it at the beginning of a memorable wine dinner. Excellent aged Sauvignon blanc. Light golden color. Very intense aromas of mango, orange peel, grass, hay, even old books. Very difficult to think Sauvignon blanc. In the mouth, the flavours are so different from the nose. this has very high acidity. It’s very dry, mineral, with lemony and poached pears flavours, oyster shell. Very very long. Really excellent and a true food wine.

Welcome Back, Michelle! (San Francisco): Magnum. Medium yellow. Varietal grassiness more than lemon peel. Nice feel although not like some really unctuous, heavier Dagueneau wines from this era. Very much alive although somewhat faded.

Didn't like this at all. Very anemic in the body and lacked intensity of anything except shrill acidity. Didn't go anywhere with air either.
