Another disappointing old Leroy being borderline oxidized... :-( This was lacking vibrancy, complexity and depth. Really not much going on and while this was not oxidized, you could feel hint of cooked apple with a flabby texture. Right away when I saw the color I was a little worried... Oh well.

Not the best bottle I have drunk of this wine in this vintage. Pale lemon yellow (at least not oxydation there), med - intensity of aromas (white flower, lemon peel, red apple). Med body, acidity and alcohol. Flavours match the aromas in a medium intensity. Lacks vibrancy and nerve. It is a good bottle but nothing exceptionnal which in this case is a disapointment.

Nose: honeysuckle, caramelized apples, cinnamon, sage Palate: ripe apple, lemongrass, vanilla bean, lavender, saline, lemon Comments: Explosive nose, great balance of fruit an acidity, long finish, drink or hold

Incredibly mineral palate. Serious concentration, paired with precision.
