Well Improved in the bottle. Now it has matured and drinking very well with red cherries, earthy spices, sweet finish and perfect with the white truffles pasta!

This wine from GB gets better and better. The tannins have smoothen out and great taste of red cherries, sweet spice, herbal, mushrooms, vanilla (?), peppery and loads of fine grippy tannins that lingers on. Suggest at least an hour to decant and gets better in the glass over the course of dinner.

2008 Ovello are beginning to mature and ripe for drinking. But their evolvement has been amazing Peaked around 2018/19 and still drinking well. A medium body solid Barbaresco wine.

Shining ruby color. After two hours, the nose is still close but the mouth shows interesting spiciness and red fruit jam with some acidity and tannins. After 5 hours, red fruits and cloves on the nose. The wine become more balanced and elegant and show a great fineness. Maybe already past its peak?

Nice drinking now. Bit lighter but still plenty of fruits, acid. The tannins are a bit dry grippy, so need food to go along with the wines.
