Palate: cherry, white strawberries; medium+ finish of iodine, salinity, mineral, fresh herbs, yeast; dry; medium body; medium+ finer bubbles; medium to medium+ acidity
Overall thoughts: So interesting and different (for me at least). Hard to really pinpoint what I'm tasting, but it's very complex. I really like the salinity. Great wine.

2019 base. Lovely, fresh, and precise nose with lots of lemon and citrus fruit, minerals, a bit of brioche / fresh croissant, and dried camomile. Great acidity with similar flavors but a bit more richness, and just a hint of smoke on the palate. Long finish. Really delicious wine, complex and deep. It’s still quite young and I’m sure this will age beautifully.

What a stunning bottle of wine. Defiantly a white wine first, and a Champagne second. Base year 2017, but 70% reserve wines, from 2011 to 2016. 40% PM, 40% PN, 20% CH. Beautiful red fruit nose, ginger cookie nose. Broad on the palate, red fruits, peach, ginger, biscuit, grapefruit, nutty, toasted, almond. What a bottle.

⭐️⭐️⭐️+++ VDS 2-102-1. Emmanuel Brochet le Mont Benoit (16 base) 2016 Base에 대략 2019년 데꼴. 릴리즈 초기에 동일 와인 몇병 마셔보고는 정말 오랜만이다. 컬러는 PN, PM 비율이 높아서 좀 진한편이다. 노즈는 평벙하게 청사과, 시트러스로 시작했다. 팔렛에서 버블은 아직 힘차게 올라오긴 했지만 부드럽게 녹아들어가는 초입 정도로 보였고, 잘 짜여진 구조감과 밸런스로 뭔가를 더 기대하게 만드는 샴페인이였다. 함께 테이스팅한 RD2002가 오픈 하자마자 매력 어필하며 테이스터들을 압도했다면 Emmanuel Brochet는 서서히 빠져들게 만드는 볼매 샴 이였다. 시간이 지남에 따라 잘익은 사과, 자몽, 파인애플, 희미한 흰꽃의 모습도 보여주었고, 피어오르는 미네랄 늬앙스도 아주 매력적이였다. 지금도 충분히 마시기 매력적이었고, 앞으로 2~3년간 더 절정으로 올라가지 않을까 기대되었다.

Method: base 2020; at Le Glue Pot

2019 base. Lovely, fresh, and precise nose with lots of lemon and citrus fruit, minerals, a bit of brioche / fresh croissant, and dried camomile. Great acidity with similar flavors but a bit more richness, and just a hint of smoke on the palate. Long finish. Really delicious wine, complex and deep. It’s still quite young and I’m sure this will age beautifully.
