Last bottle and end of the road for this vintage, the nose is very deep chocolate and dark fruit while the palate is very smooth and beginning to lose interesting characteristics. Don't wait, drink now if you have this in your cellar

See previous note, this has moved forward yet again, with a somewhat different taste profile developing, with a much more savory note now appearing, with forest floor and a little mushroom now very apparent. The tannins have integrated further as well. On the brink of a 92, maybe the next bottle will get it there.

This continues to improve, third bottle in as many years, the tannins are much more integrated, with the nose and palate becoming more expressive. Looking forward to next year and the next bottle already.

Three and a half hour decant, which based on my note from a little over a year ago was absolutely necessary. This has clearly improved with an additional year of cellar time, with the tannins much more palatable and the fruit much more present. Four more bottles to go, one a year for the next four years, will be interesting to see if this continues to develop in a positive direction.
