  • Big, dark bouquet - some blackcurrant and cherry with cedary overtones. Certainly a bit of development on the nose, but still plenty of fruit, too. Fairly light in the mouth (you might say thin if you were being unkind). Tannin pretty much fully integrated. Decent length and pleasant flavours but the lack of body lets it down. Nice enough to drink and plenty of life left in it but it's unlikely to improve.

  • Nice red/slight bricking color. Little to no sediment.
Aromas of cedar, dark berries, slight peppers, spice. Subtle richness to the overall nose. A nice damp earthiness overall.
Flavors of cassis, black cherry, some herbaceous flavors (a touch green). Smooth barely noticeable tannins but still an overall firm structure. An overall roundness, easy to drink. Acidity has waned a bit. Nice balanced wine with a decent length to the finish.
Very pleasant overall to drink. Nothing spectacular, just a good solid wine.

  • had this at a foursome dinner and our pooled insights were - cedar, spice, and dried fruit (prune|fig). a touch of cheery. a slight bit of pepper in the aftertaste. mildly hebaceous - autumn and cut grass. tannins understated and reasonable, but not quite well integrated. at this age, unclear that's going to change. overall, a very drinkable (thought not standout) bordeaux.

  • Deep blood red translucent colour. Nose is an alluring rich deep depth of black and red fruits with tones of damp earth and warm soft French oak, classic St. Julien blackberry and brambles fruit emerge. Palate is round and welcoming with similar rich fruits framed by softened but firm tannins. There is a super integrated refreshing and harmonious acidity....in fact all elements are elegantly very harmonious and fully integrated. Good length. This was popped and poured into a decanter then immediately drank over the following hour. Really excellent especially in QPR terms.

  • Light in colour and taste, not uninteresting. But missing power and concentration to be great.
