  • What's the secret of Michel Faraud ? I don't know but I'm happy that he has it. Had only little hope for a 20 year old Gigondas from a mediocre vintage. And : a absolutely good drinking wine, not so much intensity as the 1998 and others, but lively acidity and smooth tannins still holding up and being a good backbone for the fruit core. And it hold up the whole evening and did not cave in. Bravo.
