Relatively light colour, bright and lively red, narrow orange rim; good depth, spicy, oak and plummy fruit, ethereal, perfumed top notes; good fruit, firm structure, slightly rusty tannins, crisp acidity, transparent, hint of austerity; somewhat drying on the finish, very good length. Old fashioned Ramisco.
A private tasting: Lovely warm garnet; plummy fruit, young and very lively at 11 years old; traditional, firm, powerfully structured, lively, sève; excellent length. Long-lived, will easily last another 20 years.
