Tasted with a Coravin. The fruit is still huge, covering the tannins and hiding some background Bordeaux characteristics. A very California type of wine. This needs at least 2-3 years to begin the drinking window. I feel this will be a great wine

This wine is a beast right now. I decanted this wine for 2+ hours and consumed it over 2 days. Tons of dark fruit, cedar and espresso mixed with tannins. I would have never guessed that this wine is from Pessac-Leognan. I have five bottles left and I probably won't touch them for another 5 to 6 years. If you want to drink a 2009 in the same price range, I would recommend the Cambon La Pelouse or Clement Pichon right now, but all 3 will be fantastic in 6+ years.

Deilig lukt av modne mørke bær med hint av friske bringebær. Fortsatt ung, og er noe preget av frukttanniner. Smaker av mørke bær, litt vanilje. Fortsatt noe lukket, men frukten bærer seg godt. Bra lengde. Drukket til biff, det var en veldig bra match!
