Bright garnet red and medium bodied, there’s sweet sangiovese red fruits right up front including dried cranberry, Ranier cherry, and some strawberry. Not much oak or tannin, not too sweet, well balanced and very dinner-friendly. This is a wine I could drink regularly.
West-End Wine Tasting 1 (Portland, ME): Dark indistinct fruits on the nose. P: strong alcohol and acidity. Feels sharp and prickly but I'm not getting any distinct flavors. K mentioned the VA was high on the palate.
