Selbach 2011 Mosel Riesling Dry (SRP $14): This wine is crisp and lively with aromas and flavors of green apple, lemon zest, and a hint of lime peel on a light-bodied and racy frame with a nice stony note in the short-to-medium length finish. I don’t need to tell you how food-friendly this wine is, right? I enjoyed it wine with jerk-spice seasoned wings and all the fixings. (Other info: ABV 12.5%, screw cap enclosure.)
2011 Rieslings #WineChat: Light lemon peel color. A zesty, mineral-driven nose showing grapefruit, nectarine and some limestone. The palate is tangy and full of minerals, just like Mosel Riesling should be. While not as complex as vineyard-designated wines, this shows a lot of character for an entry-level Riesling. I like the grapefruit, green apple and mineral notes, and the acid is great, keeping it nervy and refreshing.

very pale colour. nose: lemon with apples plus some stones and salt. taste: simple riesling himself... loads of lemon with thicker finish, smooth and easydrinking.

pale, strawlike color. Citrus nose. Simple, lemony with crisp apples on the palate. Pleasant enough for what it is
