Dark garnet color. Nose: black cherry, blueberry, and blackberry with accents of cola, clove, date molasses, new leather, and toasted cedar. Medium/full body on the palate: black cherry, mulberry, and blackberry framed by toasted cedar, cola, black olive, damp earth, espresso, and graphite. Medium+ acidity. Moderate tannins. Lingering cola, damp earth, toasted cedar, and powdered graphite on the long finish. Beautiful mountain Cabernet with excellent structure and perfect balance. Drink over the next 7-10 years.

This was a pop and pour at a local restaurant. Surprisingly light in colour with a garnet red tone to it. Some blueberries to the nose and in the taste as well. The wine also tasted lighter in alcohol that it actually was. Not a bad wine but not a great wine. I'll be curious to try one again in a year from now. Side note..great bottle graphics.

Dark, dense and a bit chewy. The finish is very long with lots of toasted cocoa and blue fruit. Age 5+ years

Not Jeff Ames' finest work but a very solid mountain cab. A bit softer than one might expect from the Konrad site, but 2009 is a pretty soft vintage.

A lovely, opulent Cabernet with stone and floral notes on the nose, and a long rich mountain berry finish. Highly recommend!
