From at least a ten year old bottle. Relatively dry, medium light body with a toffee and nut (mostly almond but not toasted or salted almond) flavors. With some mental effort this could be an outstanding complement to the right food, tonight we served this right before the sweets.

Big, grippy, and seemed almost oloroso-like, not a fave, unless I just need to retaste.

Lustau tasting with Christopher Cannan (Dine Restaurant, Auckland, New Zealand): roasted hazelnut nose, lovely acid spine - excellent mouthfeel - very smooth, yet it has a clean acid quality. very harmonious and a very mature wine - average age of the solera is 18 years.

Farve: Kobberbrun, maghoni.
