In a pretty good spot, this wine is tasting good right now !! The cork was saturated half way up after over a decade in the bottle removed without drama. I consumed this Old World styled Pinot Noir over two days. A little tight at first displaying only the acidity, opened up after an hour and really shined the next day to a softer wine. Medium ruby color with little to no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and caramel. Flavors of cranberry, red cherry, rhubarb, and spice with a medium finish. Good fruit with firm acidity made into a reasonably balanced Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hill appellation of Santa Barbara County. This Pinot Noir is potentially age worthy and may have many more years of life remaining. Fortunately, I still have two more bottles of this vintage remaining in my cellar to revisit in the next year or so. Great fruit and a great winemaking effort from Sashi Moorman.

Consumed with friends at dinner this week at dinner. Still have one bottle remaining in my cellar.

Very tasty but a little fizzy. Drank it anyway.
