  Dark purple/red in colour. Inky looking but not thick.
  Nice floral aromas as well as red berries, pepper, and baking spices.
  Medium to full bodied. A very distinctive bitter finish (but in a nice way). Medium length finish. Smooth slightly drying tannins. Dark fruits and spices on the palate. Overall a nicely balanced mid weight wine. Fresh tasting, juicy. Not overly complex. I like the weight and mouthfeel of this wine ..... not as thick and heavy as a normal shiraz/syrah style from warmer weather locales. More northern rhone-like, but more fruit and less structure.
