Decanted for 5 minutes (no sediment), then returned to bottle and slo-oxed for another 15 minutes. Our experience with this wine was not quite as exuberant as that of others - especially the immediately previous 4 TNs (in mid to late '18) by bravo.solares. (Note: TN previous to that was in mid 2016). The intensity of the red fruits (mostly cherry) was medium to minus, the acidity was medium to plus, with notes of baking spices and some pepper. Was it not enough air, or was it over the hill? This wine was rather simple, and a bit disappointing, as it was consumed alongside Matt's 2010 Lester Family Vineyard Pinot, which was clearly more complex and robust - see that TN.

Very balanced and harmonious wine. Cherries (red and black), hint of leather, dirt, dried leaves, pine needles. Clearly CA, but with more earthiness than most CA PNs. Good enough acidity. Middle aged - I suspect this should still evolve over the next couple of yrs, and drink well for 5 more yrs. Beautiful pairing with Zuni’s roasted chicken.

Opened for an hour with a glass poured off. Started off a bit heavy. But opened up nicely over 5 hours. Nice.

A little bit more evolved, but not quite as complex, as thr bottle I drank in June. Similar tasting note, but not nearly as good.
