Shared the bottle with a wine club, where it held its own and won the tasting. This wine needs time to open, I would say at least an hour, but preferably 2. Initial nose is sharp, pungent and unimpressive, however after a pour it mellows very quickly in the glass. Very nice compliment to steak in the end.
