Tasted at Wine Advocat event - A matter of taste. Tataaaaaaaa! My first Bojo in I don't know how many years - and what a nice surprise. The name Beaujolais of course being properly ruined by the amount of trash they produce there every year, you must feel sorry for the producers who try to make quality wine. Varietal. Gamay. Medium garnet. Expressive nose of cherry, spices, gingerbread. On the palate this is soft and succulent with an ever so slightly earthy under tone providing complexity. Great food wine. I would prefer this any day to the well crafted but always a bit character less Merlots/SabSavs from the new world mass producers. 91-92
should have read my prior note before pulling. this wine is way too young. Was not able to decant either so that did not help. Gulpable but limited complexity at this stage of the game. Went very good with fried chicken but fairly simple today. Will drink remaining 2015+
