Casual session at B&B. Pop and poured. Drank over 2 hours. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, purplish ruby colour. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of charred oak, floral scents, dark earth and a mix of red and black fruits. Developing. On the palate, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), low tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of black cherries, blackberry, dark red cherries, earth, minerality, and cinnamon spice. Medium+ finish. Outstanding quality Beaujolais cru but somehow did not perform as well as the previous 2 times I have had it. But still lovely complex nose and good fruit on the palate. Some steminess emerged with air. Enjoy now, and over the next 3-4 years.
