Into the decanter for an hour. Mid golden yellow in colour. Lemony, lime sweetness, oranges, medium oak enhances the fruit, light peppery spice, medium body, refreshing mid-palate provides another layer of silken complexity, somewhat shortish finish given the large entry and outstanding mid palate. Very enjoyable and goes down way too quick not to pack two bottles for lunch. Looking for more to cellar at this price point.

Quick note, Paul's Asian Affair, Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
Pale golden yellow in colour. Medium nose as it warms in the glass. Gorgeous, guava. Silken mouthfeel, golden, guava, a little lime, tropical, lovely mouthfeel. Spicy oak mid palate, beautiful freshness, long lingering finish.
Supple, well integrated oak, just is.

By some margin, the best chardonnay I have had in a long time. It must be amongst the top Aussie chardonnays along with Leeuwin, Giaconda and Pierro (but why, oh why, the cork...?).
Power, intensity and complexity in spades. White peach, grapefruit, melon, lemon, flowers, nuts and biscuits on the nose. Pretty much the same on the palate but with cinnamon spice too. Richness without heaviness. So mouthfilling and long and vibrant. This put a smile on everyone's face at dinner. I could have drunk it all night.

Light golden in colour. Heavy, doughy, fresh biscuit aromas. Some citrus poking through after a while. Big and full palate, juicy and rich, some pears, well balanced oak and an incredibly long finish. Really interesting and complex, more of an oaky style as opposed to lean and refined. Looking forward to see how this develops.
