I could drink this as my daily summer white. Serve ice cold. It's beautiful with a touch of residual sugar. I get a lot of sweet honeyed apples on the nose that carries through. Deep, flavorful. It paired surprisingly well with Epoisse and Beemster Gouda (not the XO). We had it open for 2 hours before we drank it. Let this one breathe. It will be amazing.

This wine was chilled down a bit...not too much, and cork was popped. Wine poured a pale yellow into the glass. The odors were some mild honeydew, some lemongrass, but I was getting a mango here. Very crisp. Didn't seem too overly complex by the nose. The palate was mango, lemon, and a hint of grapefruit, but didn't have that grapefruit obnoxiousness. The mid-palate was a little more full bodied than anticipated, and showed some acidity as it sat on your tongue. The finish was a bit acidic as well, again showing a nice citrus side to this wine. This wine stayed a little acidic, stinging the tongue just a bit....made you just want to take another sip. A very nice wine that was an excellent sipping wine, and very enjoyable with guacamole on this 100 degree Texas day. I'm really thinking of loading up on this at this price, but the Mollydooker Violinist Verdelho does beat it out at least 2-3 points. Drink this now.

Just slightly off-dry, aromatic, almost saline.
