  • Drinking well after 1hr, nice dark red fruit with ample acidity. The tannins are pretty well integrated but still have a couple yrs to go. There is some nice sous bois and cellar funk that give this a nice old world feel but with some nice fruit but not overtly modern. Would love to have more and it went great with roasted chicken.

  • PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
-nearly semi-translucent med red slight purple no bricking
-crunchy red fruit some burg funk
-higher acidity buffered by moderately sappy core of tangy but ripe high-toned black cherry and some noticeable creamy vanilla oak, med tannins give quite a bit of grip on the moderately long finish
-structurally true to vintage, leaning toward a modern style but not clunky or over-ripe, on the bigger end of the spectrum for Chambolle, still on the upside but drinking much better than the 2010 Chambolle AC this week
