Truly superb, even at perhaps somewhat past peak. This is a Zin-lover's Syrah, full of fruit, smooth, supple, velvety, and still enough structure to hold it all together. I've got one copy remaining of the 2004, and will open it soon, no point in holding longer -- drink now.

Last bottle -- faded a little, bricked a bit, but still a fine, fine wine. As I noted in 2015, a real zin-lover's syrah.

Excellent paring with BBQ Ribs. The wine is oaky and heavy berry nose. The taste lingers with strong chocolate and black berry flavors

Smooth well rounded Rosenblum. Fruit has calmed down and isn't so in your face. A little spice and earthiness, good body and structure.
