This is a French Burgundy style Chard. If you love CA Chards you aren't going to like it. I loved the clean crisp citrus notes. But then I'm not a fan heavy butter and oak. And excellent food pairing with scallops.

Churchill's: Kermit Lynch (Maumee, OH): Crisp lemony nose. Leesy, lemon lime on the palate. Showing better than the first bottle - still a food wine, but softer. $15

The first glass in enjoyable, but it becomes a tad too sour and mouth-puckering to enjoy over a longer period. Much more similar to a Loire sauvignon blanc, than a white burgundy chard, but at the $10 price point it presents a good value.
