Has the broad fleshiness I associate with pinot gris, but the flavors just aren't really there. Tart and lemony - feels somewhat underripe. Blame the cool vintage?

Lots of apple with some nice background lemon note, all with good supporting energy. Still good, but time to drink up. Very good value wine.

Well made, nice acidity level, be careful not to serve too cold as it absolutely kills the aromatics.
Paired with duck leg confit, worked amazingly well - acid level cut the fat, aromatics added another dimension above the rich duck taste.
