Decanted for a couple of hours, then served at family dinner. Light bodied, thin on the palate with a bit of sour cherry and sweet tart. Acid was fairly present, but there seemed to be no "there" there in terms of mouth feel and finish. Just a generally "meh" bottle of wine, not particularly offensive but not worth trying again even at $16.
Last bottle was the best bottle- broken record on these sub $17 lastbottlewine.com buys. End up being a great deals. A tasty new world Sangio- drinks well alone, pasta and with steak. Bravo. Wish I had a couple more as daily drinkers.
