Drank with Thanksgiving dinner. Was concerned about oxygen contact so did not decant, but wine actually stayed consistent throughout evening. Nice mouth and front end, but has lost much of its fruit and did not finish well. Would have liked to have tasted at 10 years old. Still, an enjoyable wine.

- Ruby color with medium forming legs. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of strawberry and raspberry with a light/medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Pretty good Pinot.

Better than I expected it to be. We opened two bottles, with similar results. Darkly colored, especially for an OR pinot, with only faint bricking at the edges of the glass. Gently herbal nose with some alcoholic heat. Powerful, still tannic, with a stemmy complexity that complements the abundant dark fruit of the warm 2003 vintage. Not my favorite Soter, but this wine hasn't fallen apart, which is a testament to his skill as a winemaker. Well stored bottles still have a few good years left.

Briary nose with faint herbs and cola; resolved tannin for the most part with loads of cherries and bark on the palate.
