Clear dark ruby. French farm nose - smoke, bacon fat, cedar, and blackberry. Full bodied, crushed blueberries, black cherries, pepper, serious tannins, tar, black olives, and a long mouth-puckering finish. Very tasty, but still resembles a young, unwashed teenager. Give it more time.
