Light garnet fading to the rim. Strawberries and raspberries, sweet spice and toast. Simple red fruit but lots of acidity and decent length. A tiny bit sour on the finish but the oak is just right. The first drank, and cheapest, of 16 2005 red burgundies in my cellar shows promise for the vintage.

half-bottle format. Very full bodied for a village level wine. lots of basic PN fruit flavors enveloped in a structure of well integrated tannins and unobtrusive oak. A very enjoyable bottle.
