Well after Margi’s death last year I cannot but feel nostalgic that these are my last bottles of Brogan.
Like other bottles this has a distinctive Russian River nose and profile. Should I rate this as the best pinot noir Ive had? No, but it has character in heaps and a beautiful, if sharp tannic backbone, still bolstered by tart cherry.
Lovely to my palate. Does better with air so give it some time in glass or carafe.

Rather tart and over the hill. Drinkable, but not all that enjoyable.

needed an hour to open up but then really shined. Pinot fruit balanced by some flint.
