An interesting rendition of Joe Davis' Fiddlestix pinot; had a slightly herby quality that reminded me of a Cote Rotie more than CA pinot on the nose. On the palate, the pinot fruit comes through. Still a bit tannic, this is not yet at maturity. Enjoyed it but not among my favorite Arcadian pinots.
Most Excellent. Nose of blackberries, rasberries, and a touch of earth. Taste is brilliant. Blackberries, strawberries, cherries, and a touch of earth. Great tannin and acid levels. Drinks like a 5 year wine, but with secondary flavors. A wonderfully crafted pinot.
